Donations go straight to outreach: naloxone, fentanyl test strips, sterile syringes and other safer use supplies, plus hot food and cold-weather gear. Sterile supplies mean less disease and fewer overdose deaths. Operation In My Backyard is a 501(c)(3), so your gift is tax-deductible.
We also take clothes, blankets, food and drinks, desserts, books, and whatever else helps folks get through life on the street. Bring it by outreach any Tuesday at 6pm at Ruth and Somerset, or let us know if you want to give us a heads-up or need a pickup. You can also send something from our Amazon wishlist.
